Cultural Food Tour

Food brings us together in so many ways. Memories from home, new experiences, and laughter around the table make us all feel welcome no matter where we call home. Join our local restaurants for the month of September as they celebrate their chosen cultures with the Cultural Food Tour. Order any Cultural Food Tour dish from participating restaurants and enter your name to WIN $100 Heart of Alberta Dollars sponsored by the Stettler Regional Board of Trade and Community Development.

Artifacts Exhibit

Learn about the history and culture of the Asian worlds at the Stettler Museum. Artifact displays will be held all month with special features on the Filipino community September 2 - 15 and the Asian and Japanese cultures September 17 - 30.

Art Exhibit- We Are Immigrants

We are Immigrants: This exhibit by Raeann Kit-Yee Cheung explores the hidden hardships and legacy of early Chinese Canadian immigrants from the mid-19th century onward.  On display at the Stettler Public Library from September 7 through October 4, 2023.

Filipino Fiesta

Join Stettler Culture Days and the local Filipino Community while we celebrate with a traditional Filipino Fiesta! Enjoy samplings of traditional Filipino cuisine, learn about the culture and history of the Philippines, and partake in a dance or two while they demonstrate the Pamaypay and Tinikling traditional dances. Youth activities and demonstrations will include the Mamang Sorbetero and Bulaklakan dances, karaoke, and so much more!
